History
The Phillipsburg Airport was originally a grass strip founded by the Myers family in 1945. It is a privately owned public use airport. It is the home of Steel Aviation and Check 6 Air Flight school.

In 2013 the Potters purchased the aircraft to keep it from closing. The airport is now a thriving part of the community once again. New hangars have been added, and the runway is secure and being expanded. And there are a lot of exciting projects planned for the future please check the site often and sign up for our updates.
Steel Aviation is a company that specializes in Cirrus and Diamond aircraft. Our company also specializes in high-end renovations and maintenance of Cirrus while helping clients with the purchase and sale of a broad range of other aircraft types. Steel Aviation also provides rentals as well as financing.
